How many hours a week go into doing the same thing by hand?

Every week, someone copies numbers from one spreadsheet to another, sends the same reminder emails, or runs the same manual checks. Automation Kickstart finds these bottlenecks and automates them — fast, lightweight, and without a massive project.

What is Automation Kickstart?

Not a six-month transformation project. Not an army of consultants. Automation Kickstart is a short, concrete engagement: we identify the repetitive manual tasks eating your time and automate them. One at a time, low risk, visible results. We start with whatever saves the most time with the least effort.

How it works

01

Assessment (2–3h)

I go through your daily workflows. Where does data move between systems by hand? Where do people run the same checks over and over? The result: a prioritized list of automation opportunities — what to automate first, with what tool, and the estimated time savings.

02

Implementation

We build the first automation. No theory — a working solution that saves time starting next week. Tools are chosen based on the situation: cloud-native tools, n8n, Python scripts, or a simple rule.

03

Deployment and training

Automation doesn't help if nobody understands how it works. I walk you through how the solution works, how to monitor it, and how to keep it running. No black boxes.

04

Follow-up

Every automation includes a monitoring period. We make sure it works in real life, not just in a demo. If something breaks, I fix it. The goal is a solution you can trust without me.

Typical automation targets

Finance & accounting

Auto-sorting incoming invoices. Payment reminders after due dates. Compiling monthly reports from multiple sources.

HR

Automated onboarding checklists: accounts, devices, training, signatures. Offboarding checklists when someone leaves.

Sales & customer service

Contact form data straight to CRM. Automated acknowledgments and reminders. Self-updating quote tracking.

IT & maintenance

Weekly security update status reports. Disk space and license alerts before problems arise. Log collection and anomaly detection.

Who is it for?

Companies with repetitive manual processes — and the feeling that "this takes too much time but nobody has time to fix it."

Accounting firms

Same review routine every month, same reminders, same reports.

Law firms

Document templates, deadlines, archiving. No room for errors.

Logistics

Order confirmations, shipping notifications, inventory levels. Data flowing across multiple systems.

Growing companies

Processes that worked with two people don't scale to ten.

This is reality in too many companies

Month-end closing takes 3 days because data is gathered manually from five places
New employee onboarding takes a week because someone forgets to order credentials
Invoices paid late because reminders are sent manually
Same spreadsheet copied and edited every week — nobody has the current version
Answering a client inquiry takes an hour because data comes from three systems
"We've always done it this way" — and nobody has calculated what it costs

Example: what automation actually saves

Situation: Manual invoice processing. 30 invoices per week, 5 minutes each.

Annual cost of manual work: 30 × 5 min × 50 weeks = 125 hours. At €25/h = €3,125 per year.

Automation build cost: 4–6 hours = approximately €600–900 one-time.

Payback period: Under 3 months. After that, pure savings.

A natural follow-up to the IT Health Check

Health checks often identify processes where time is being wasted. Automation Kickstart is the natural next step: take one of those processes and automate it.

You can also purchase Automation Kickstart independently — no health check required upfront.

Why me?

I don't represent any automation platform. I choose the tool that fits your situation — not the one that pays me commission. I build working solutions you can deploy right away.

Hands-on

I don't make slide decks about automation possibilities. I build working solutions.

One automation per week, not a six-month project. You see results quickly.

Proven

Built a full ERP/ticketing system using only existing licenses — zero additional cost.

Frequently asked

What size companies does this work for?

Best for 5–50 people. At that size, processes are established enough to automate but too small for a dedicated dev team.

Do we need new software?

Often not. Many cloud environments have built-in automation tools — they're just not being used. If something new is needed, I prefer open-source alternatives.

What if the automation doesn't work as expected?

I fix it. Every automation includes a monitoring period to make sure it works in real life, not just in a demo.

Can the work be done remotely?

Yes. The assessment works on-site or remotely. Implementation is usually remote. In Kuopio, I'm happy to come by in person.
